Myriam Soto

Ms. Myriam is a dedicated, creative, and enthusiastic Montessori Guide with extensive experience and a passion for early childhood education. She holds both Infant/Toddler and Primary Montessori certifications from the American Montessori Society (AMS). Over the years, she has served as a Lead Teacher, Montessori Coordinator, and Head of School, bringing her wealth of expertise and leadership to every role.

In addition to her Montessori certifications, Ms. Myriam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, which has helped her foster professional and positive relationships with coworkers and parents. Her collaborative approach ensures a strong sense of teamwork within her school community.

Ms. Myriam has a deep appreciation for Montessori education, valuing its emphasis on allowing children to learn through their own experiences and at their own pace. She believes this philosophy equips children with essential skills such as responsibility, time and project management, accountability, and a love for lifelong learning. Her goal is to help children unlock their full potential, preparing them to become engaged, responsible, and respectful global citizens.

Originally from Mexico, Ms. Myriam moved to Austin ten years ago. Her cultural roots and passion for bilingual education have inspired her to expand Spanish Immersion programs for infants, toddlers, and primary-aged children. She finds immense joy in witnessing how children thrive through the integration of Montessori principles and a second language, preparing them for brighter futures.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Myriam loves spending quality time in nature with her husband and son, cherishing the beauty of exploration and family adventures.
